What are the characteristics of rolled aluminized coils?

Hot-dip aluminized steel sheet combines the mechanical properties of cold-rolled steel sheet with the high resistance retention, thermal reflectivity and excellent rust resistance of aluminum.

> > Heat resistance: Compared with galvanized steel plate and cold-rolled steel plate, ALCOAT has little change when exposed to the temperature as high as 450 degrees Celsius for a long time, and its attractive surface brightness will not be affected.

> > Thermal reflectivity: ALCOAT's elegant surface reflects about 80% of heat at 450 degrees Celsius. Where there is infrared light, its reflectivity is as high as 95%. This makes ALCOAT an ideal choice for producing heat reflection plates for toasters, ovens, gas stoves and oil stoves.

> > Corrosion resistance: Aluminum is often more resistant to corrosion than manganese, molybdenum, chromium, tungsten, cadmium, iron and zinc. However, due to the good stability of alumina film itself, its surface corrosion resistance is much better than that of galvanized sheet except for some environmental conditions.
