Copper Plate, made of pure copper or copper alloy in various shapes including rods,wires, plates, strips,tubes, foils,ect.,collectively referred to as copper.

1. The surface of hot rolled plate should be clean; Delamination, cracks, peeling, inclusion and green rust are not allowed, but repair is allowed, and the thickness of the plate should not exceed the allowable deviation after repair.
The surface of hot rolled plate is allowed to have slight and local scratches, spots, pits, pressed objects, wrinkles, roller marks and other deviations that do not make the thickness of the plate exceed the allowable deviation.

 2. The surface of cold rolled plate should be smooth and clean; Delamination, cracking, peeling, inclusion and green rust are not allowed.

The surface of the cold-rolled sheet is allowed to have slight and local scratches, spots, pits, pressed objects, wrinkles, roller marks, oil marks and other deviations that do not make the thickness of the sheet exceed the allowable deviation.

INFORMATION 

Copper sheets are versatile, durable materials that are used for a variety of applications. Copper sheets have good hot and cold forming characteristics and can be used in situations where extensive machining are not required. Copper sheets are malleable and ductile metal with high thermal and electrical conductivity. Given its malleability and formability, copper sheets are extensively used as construction materials for exterior roofing projects.

GRADES

One of the most common grade of copper sheets is CDA 110 (C11000). It is 99.9% pure copper and has exceptional thermal and electrical conductivity. Copper grade C11000 also provides good corrosion resistance and forgeability. Copper sheets in grade C11000 can be hot or cold formed and machined. C11000 copper sheet has excellent malleability and ductility, as well as aesthetic appeal, thus it is widely used in architectural applications. With the aforementioned characteristics, as well as workability, C11000 grade copper sheet is typically chosen to make plumbing fittings, electrical components, welding equipment and architectural features.
